Home to the sons of Uros, third heir of the True Khan, Shusoa was once a vast, lush jungle teeming with life; an anomaly in the otherwise bleak terrain of Helios. When the Orcs of Golgorath, in their bid to subjugate the Trolls of Shusoa, unleashed the power of a Second Age weapon upon the verdant land, it was nearly stripped of life and became known as the Lands of Bone. It has only been through the relentless efforts of the Trolls and their spirit magic that Shusoa has begun to show signs of recovery. Though life and lusciousness returns to the grey landscape, scars remain in the land and in the hearts of the Urad, who will never forgive the Orcs for their atrocities.
There are very few permanent settlements in Shusoa; the land is as wild and dangerous as its people. Few dare to venture beyond the palisade walls of the border cities as the jungles are full of poisons, predators, and unfriendly eyes which watch from every shadow. Strange magics are at work within Shusoa and wild spirits walk abroad in the skin of animals. Indeed, Shusoa is a land filled with Medicon, more so than any other place in Helios. Great courts of spirits, animals, and shaman rampage through the jungles, weaving anew the tattered fabric of life that was shattered.

The rocky jungle coast stretches for miles and miles around the bay's toothy maw. These waters are filled with hidden reefs and jagged rocks which only the local Urad know how to navigate safely. Spirits of the sea and jungle fight an ancient war in this land, catching all who come here in the crossfire.
This land of tropical steppes and savannas eventually gives way to the black desert of Tsarosa. Long shadows grow from the east and the devastation of war threatens the region. Only small cabals of guerilla warriors and shaman from local Urad tribes resist the encroaching darkness against all odds.
Ona Muru is an ancient jungle untouched by the invading Golgori and scarcely populated by wild tribes and gigantic, prehistoric creatures. The maddest and most powerful spirits dwell here, making this land home to the Urads' most sacred and ancient temples, full of danger and priceless treasures.
When one imagines Shusoa’s sprawling jungles and variety of strange creatures beneath the canopy of vines, they imagine Ora Makesh. The tribes who dwell here are fighting a losing war against invading forces from Golgorath, striking out from the shadows of the jungle with the aid of beasts and local spirits.
