LOngshot

Engaging the enemy at extreme distances while maintaining exceptional accuracy is no easy feat. Through years of practice, self-discipline, and nerves of steel, Rangers become marksmen of unparalleled excellence. Longshot reflects the sniper's training, allowing them to inflict great casualties against enemy forces by relying on the twin advantages of surprise and distance.
Picture
Longshot is an Assault power. By taking the enemy by surprise and at a distance, the Ranger is able to land an accurate shot to critical areas, dealing severe damage in a single burst. Their distance and hidden position protects the Ranger from reprisals.

Role-Playing With Longshot

Those with Longshot are exceptionally accurate with any range weapon and can perform stunts that play off this extreme accuracy, such as shooting an apple off someone's head or making a trick shot. They also tend to notice and account for small details that others overlook.

Ritual: Perch

Spend a point of Destiny to find and set up the perfect sniper's nest over the course of 30 minutes. Your perch must be somewhat elevated and at least 20 meters from those you wish to observe or shoot at. Even after attacking, you remain Hidden (and thus have Advantage on all attack Feats) so long as you are stationary within your perch and not spotted. While you are in your perch, all Feats made to spot you have Disadvantage.
