Urbane and populous, Europa is the considered by many to be the cosmopolitan heart of Thera. With three of the planet’s most wealthy and powerful nations inhabiting the continent, it’s not hard to see why. Regular rains and distinctive seasons give the fertile land an abundance of food. Vast woodlands and ore-rich mountains also provide the nations of Europa with great natural resources. Yet it is this prosperity that has made Europa a perpetual battleground for as far back as anyone can remember. The continent’s three great nations, Aldegan, Cardinia, and Espina, have been locked in an eternal rivalry for land, resources, and honor with none holding advantage over the others for long. The battle between these three nations is less an all-out war and more of a constant struggle for superiority; there is always a border skirmish, a trade embargo, a competition for prestige, or fighting in one form or another taking place. This constant state of pseudo-war has gradually taken its toll on Europa’s people. It may not be long before the three nations are too weakened by one another to stand against the multitude of wolves outside that await their moment to strike.

This wealthy theocracy was the center of the Alvian Empire's religious arm before the Empire's fall. The nation-states of Ofelia have long been as untamed as the land around them. Though subjugated by the Alvian Empire long ago, Ofelia was never fully occupied and never fully surrendered to the Empire's ambitions. The wild spirits and Nothic barbarians driven from Europa settled here, and have been planning vengeance against their ancient enemies ever since.
